Homemade Chocolate Syrup
Add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup cocoa powder, and 1 cup of water to a medium sauce pan. Cook on medium high heat until its gently boiling, whisking frequently, for about five minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract. Let sit until it thickens. Store in an airtight container, my personal preference being a mason jar. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks!
